f/Calc is a utility to calculate lens formulae for photographers so you can focus on the artistic bits rather than on the mathematics behind it all. f/Calc can do "f" number arithmetic, and can calculate depth of field, hyperfocal distance, the field of view of a lens, the angle of view of a lens, magnification, and how the focal length of the lens on the camera changes the way the spot metering function works. In addition to the Unix/Linux Tcl/Tk version, there are native Windows, Palm OS, and Macintosh versions as well.

Jim is a small footprint implementation of the Tcl programming language. It implements a large subset of Tcl and adds new features like references with garbage collection, closures, a built-in object oriented programming system, functional programming commands, and first class arrays. The interpreter's executable file is only 70 KB in size, and can be reduced by further excluding some commands. It is appropriate for inclusion inside existing programs, for scripting without dependencies, and for embedded systems.

Pixane is an image processing library for Tcl that allows the scripting of all kind of image transformations. It supports reading from and writing to a large set of file formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WBMP, etc) and provides anti-aliased text rendering and a set of built-in fonts. It doesn't requires Tk, so it can be used to easily generate images dynamically from CGI. Binaries are provided for many platforms as dynamic libraries with no external dependencies for easy deployment. It is also a core component of the eTcl distribution.

expect-lite is an quick and easy command line automation tool. Written in expect, it is designed to directly map an interactive terminal session into an automation script. expect-lite scripts use special character(s) at the beginning of each line to indicate the action. Basic expect-lite scripts can be created by simply cutting and pasting text from a terminal window into a script, and adding '>' '<' characters. No knowledge of expect is required. Expect-lite is targeted at the verification testing environment, and will produce a Pass/Fail result at the end of the script. However, its use is not limited to this environment. It includes a powerful debugger with breakpoints, step/skip, and the ability to copy/paste expect-lite lines right into a running script.
